Loide is a mix of so many 
diverse cultures, btw a father who's from Guinea Bissau, a mama who's 1 daughter of Mozambique, France as a place of birth, and America as her home..chicka has a lot of soul to her...but her kind of soul is jazz.., lyrics in portuguese, and english..that she co-wrote w/Clfiton Brockington... Her influences as her roots are very diverse :from Salif Keita, to Portishead, Gigi, Barbra S... interestin mix... She's currently working on an album..it seems like she's pretty well know in the DC area , she was also featured in Mimi Mag last year..I'm just discovering her now and sharing it w/u guys...
