Some people are just gifted period! Take for example our brotha from Benin who turns discarded materials, such as empty plastic bottles using his imagination, photograps, paper, ect.....turn them into life.
He was born and still lives in Porto Novo Benin. The theme of traditional ceremonies & anti-conformismis recurrent in his work, as an hommage to our ancestral traditions....
He describes one of his pieces in such words: “art installation as a warning against all forms of modern slavery—in all manner of forms…more sophisticated than those of the past, that apparently will provide fewer sleepless and guilt-ridden nights.”
