Finally, I'm posting some of the pictures I took this summer Dakar Fashion Week 2009 by Adama Paris.

This young determined 33 years old sista is doing things her way in Dakar, bringing in local and international business and media coverage.

I enjoyed the shows, I practically felt like I knew all the models since I attended the fashion week on a daily basis lol.

I loved the work of Lebanese/Ivoirian Elie Kwame, he presented a beautiful collection marrying african accents and high end glamour.

Simone a designer from Congo did a splendid job with her coolection centered around wedding dresses,.... beautiful , beautiful.

Dakar Fashion week also allowed me the opportunity to discover Enzo's work, the collection he presented was an homage to the late M. Jackson

Oh let me not forget Bebe Noir was in the house as well, Adu a former Senegalese model turned designer introduced us to his sportswear line as well.

Nabou Diagne , Eva Tra were also some of the local designers present that week.

This was my first fashion week in Dakar, and for a start it was def' encouraging and lovely, looking forward to DFW 2010.
