Ruth was born w/music running through ber blood , both her parents were musicians in their youth. Because of the political conflict in her country, after a stay in a
refugee camp in Kenya, they finally found refuge in Canada. There, she went to the university of PEI. While in high school in Kenya, she performed at high school students, her sound is reggae-ish, folk, w/a lot of soul,gopel, she talks about African struggles, the lives of young soldiers...ect Her lyrics are in Swahili , Arabic and English...she's the type of artist I would def' listen to.
