CLAIRE KANE PROVING THAT U DON'T HAVE 2 BE BLACK TO BE AFRICAN..

Mrs Claire Kane and her trademark smile

My fav' shoot

Fierce

That's what you call making an entrance

Love the colors & the lines

Claire's thirst of adventure is what took her to our lovely Senegal...

She first started discovering Africa & its style during her stay in Maroco while she did her traing with the stylist Holly Bagdeley .

From there she went on to Senegal that she never left

Her trademark is her work w/woven loincloth (pagne tisse) to which she gives a tad of modernity...

If you wish she's like an African version of Betsey Johnson..that's what I kinda like about her..she uses African accents while still staying a white woman...u dig?!!

Her brand is called CK 221 (her initials and senegal's area code) includes clothes and decoration items.

She's admired for her polished & funky designs; the UNICEF asked once to create dolls which profits will be used as donations.
Anywhoo she has this amazing project that I can't wait 2 see; an amazing art complex, w/ a showroom, bar, restaurants, movie theater...ect...basically a MALL but that's 1 first in SENEGAL..wonderful idea...we shall see:)

For more info about her, please check out her webbie:
