I always wondered when I watched the Broadway Play the Lion King about who were the gifted actors /singers who were hiding under the beautiful customes.
One of those people is Selloane Nkhela who is playing the part of Rafiki
Selloane was born in South Africa where she learned to sing at a young age in church. Growing up she went on to sing on various gospel projects.
She's also had the opportunity to work w South African most talented musicians such as Hugh Maseka, Jonathan Butler..ect
She was chosen to play the role of Rafiki in the Lion King, with the cast she was invited to sing in Mexico at the Lunas Awards, she's performed at the Tony Awards 2008,on Jay Leno, The View
She hasn't planned officially any solo records yet but be on the look out for this talented sista:)
