Alain Martial looks like a model in person, during Sira Vision I've had the chance to see him before seeing his gorgeous work.No wonder when I asked a friend of mine how was his show, she simply said "waw", and after seeing his "dreamy madame" collection yes I waw back to her...
It's interesting how a man can imagine us so" princessy", so feminine behind, with, under the layers of silk, organza, rafia,african fabrics, taffetas...the details he uses we are just beautiful.
It seems as if the dresses he designed dance around us, they are full of life of mystery and of movement...
He hails from lovely Cameroun where he has a show room and has been a legend since the early 2K, at first he was just a regular student going for a bachelor's in sociology.
While in class he would find himself drawing, through different encounters within the fashion industry he decided to pursue his life calling...and here we are today with a few collections under his belt..
Other African designers love his work, fashionistas love his work and so do I.
