Abdou Diouf saluting his former mentor!I'm so proud and happy that all these different artists are involved in this project celebrating the birth of our beloved poet-president Leopold Sedar Senghor.
This celebration took place in December 2006 at the Univesity Cheikh Anta Diop, w/such artists as Yande Codou Sene, the Senegalese rap artist Awadi and a reknown choir.
It centered around slavery and its abolition...
The French President Jaques Chirac has also invited the artists to come to France from may -june 2007.
